Pros

Work is usually interesting and impacts the lives of many. There are some great people still trying to make the best of things.

Cons

Roche is sucking the life and joy out of Genentech. No more upward mobility as whole company is leaning out.

Pros

Great place to learn, and higher up positions have great benefits. The people are passionate and very talented. You help make medicine for those that need it.

Cons

Due to Roche management the business has been moving from innovating and making drugs for patients towards making money. The focus is now on short term profits and metrics over long term stability and actual results.

Thanks for leaving us a review. When we founded the biotechnology industry in 1976, we were focused on helping transform the lives of patients’. Since we merged with Roche in 2009, our mission remains the same as we continue to do now what patients need next. Thank you again for writing a review!
