Good ol' boy network can be limiting in job satisfaction Some challenges with "that's not my job" mentality

Disorganized Management-They don't give a direct answer to anything. They leave it up to the employees to figure things out for themselves. Always trying to change things. One day it's one way, the next it's another, the next it's back to the old way. Perpetual Overtime-They schedule overtime just to schedule it. There's no practical reasoning behind it. They say it's just to get ahead, ahead of what? Then the assembly line runs out of parts come Saturday because the Supervisors and Production Planners don't communicate very well. Then they schedule more overtime to produce those parts. It's a never ending cycle. No matter how hard you work during the week, they will schedule OT anyway. Very poor training process. Management wants nothing to do with training so they leave it up to the employees to train each other and some of those employees aren't even qualified to train themselves.
