No overtime mandatory, you can leave at your designated time, unlike a lot of businesses where you randomly have to stay after. Generac is very active when it comes to involvement with employees. Good occurrence system and you start with vacation days

Cons

The pay is horrible. But they try to combat your complaints by bringing up your incentive pay, which does nothing, They say they like you and want you to stay but they don’t prove it. No one can live off of $10 an hour. This is a lucrative company; maybe they should start rewarding the people who make it that way, like giving the little guys a wage we can live on. They also allow people who harass and push people out to continue to work here, even promote them.

If you like to figure things out on your own, fly by the seat of your pants, this employer is for you.

Cons

Very expensive 401K plan, would love it if they would switch to Vanguard. Some of the employees that have been here for years ignore emails and phone calls. When there is a storm, hold on to your hat, schedules change and everything is an expedite or else!. More levels of VP's and Directors than I thought possible.
