      Pros

      Benfits are better then some and amount of vacation, personal day given after probation period are better then most others.

      Cons

      Poor pay to work ratio and bad management. Hard work gets you no better pay them those who fool around.

      Pros

      1. Not much regulatory and paperwork relative to other industries. 2. Decent crew. 3. You are (largely) left alone to get it done.

      Cons

      1. Inefficient environment and infrastructure for technical throughput. 2. Line managers emasculated by old-line depts, Accounting, HR etc (which impacts technical efficiency). 3. Not much integration of technical disciplines - each dept is a silo. 4. Plant is out in the Wild Woods of Western Waukesha. If you don't live there, sanity-check your likely commute.

      Great opportunities with a growing company

      Pros

      Great people to work with - really top notch engineering talent in particular. Fun being part of the team that is the leader in the rapidly growing market for backup power - presents tons of opportunities. Fast paced work environment - great ability to make an impact as the company grows. Tons of investment going into new systems, processes and facilities to improve efficiency and capabilities. Eight acquisitions over the last several years have greatly expanded the company's product line and the markets served.

      Cons

      Definitely need high energy, drive, creativity and intellect to succeed. Management understands the business very well and asks a lot of questions so you need to know your stuff. If you are looking for a place to keep a low profile or just punch a clock - this probably isn't the right fit for you.
