Pros

9/80 Schedule - every other Friday off is a luxury On a macro level, work life balance is pretty solid After a decent amount of tenure, PTO accrual is pretty decent as well

Cons

Directionless leadership There are pockets of crunch and the future direction of the department shows that this will increase in frequency. Pay is middle of the pack to below average. There is not a lot of room for salary excellence here. Lots of coast mentality, though this can be a pro or con depending on your preference.

Pros

The processes and standards are strong leading to successful projects. The people and teams are great to work with, well aware of work life balance, and fair pay and benefits. Room for growth and opportunities to work in several areas of the company.

Cons

The company is still large and this always leads to many stages of management or departments to get things going. So things get caught in slow bureaucratic time.
