Pros

9/80 Schedule - every other Friday off is a luxury On a macro level, work life balance is pretty solid After a decent amount of tenure, PTO accrual is pretty decent as well

Cons

Directionless leadership There are pockets of crunch and the future direction of the department shows that this will increase in frequency. Pay is middle of the pack to below average. There is not a lot of room for salary excellence here. Lots of coast mentality, though this can be a pro or con depending on your preference.

Pros

Location and people are nice to work with.

Cons

Cybersecurity Engineering team was still being developed, so it was a challenge to get the other Engineering teams (non-cyber) to embrace the cybersecurity requirements.
