Bright engineers, open, collaborative communication across engineers, who actually do engineering.

Cons

The director on my team is the main issue, and it's showing up in the numbers. Four new hires left within a month of joining — that's not a coincidence or a hiring-luck problem. The team was meeting its deliverables, and the director still spoke disparagingly about individual engineers to their own colleagues. That is corrosive behavior that will only hurt the team, and well-proven in the number of people leaving.
