Very hard to move into new positions. Easy to get stuck in the same role for 5 + years. Salary is not necessarily aligned with positions. It's not uncommon for a manager to make less than their employees because most managers are not actually placed in management slots.

Entry level positions are often filled with employees that are often unprofessional, inarticulate, and lack work ethic. The recruitment process could use an overhaul.
