      Was good when it was Motorola

      Cons

      Before it was a great company to work for when it was Motorola. Small projects were the key...one gets canceled, always had a place to do. Now...all big jobs...one gets cancelled and hundreds/thousands get laid off

      Pros

      Once you're accepted into the company and start working, it takes an act of God to get fired. The work pace/expectations are also relatively low. This provides lots of opportunity to get in and practice and learn about modern security tools and equipment. They also provide compensation for industry certifications and education that relate to the position. Also, there is differential pay for working odd shifts.

      Cons

      They push for employees to come up with improvements, but fight anything related to change. If its not how its always been done, it won't get done. Travel pay is nonexistant as well as move compensation. Pay raises are considered at the first of the year and is based on a performance evaluations with the top ratings getting around 1%. There is little to no incentive to work hard and shine, and those that try get surpressed by mounds of red tape.
