      Pros

      Good Benefits and bonuses. Nice vacation offers. Health and dental fully included.

      Cons

      Poor team work environment. Poor management in field service engineering department. Poor communication. No respect from entry level engineers.

      Pros

      Worked as a field systems engineer in the CPOF program. Decent place to work if you need somewhere to beef up your system administrator and other IT skills. The program I worked for gave you plenty of flexibility to work on and study whatever you wanted when things were slow or there were no trouble tickets to handle.

      Cons

      Working as a contractor means that at any point in time there will be budget cuts and employee lay offs. Company leadership tried to take care of us as best they could, but if there were cuts then we as the field engineers wouldn't find out until the absolute last minute. Also, you don't get good over time benefits because each project has a set budget; so if you have to work overtime to get the customers systems up and running and overtime has not been computed in the budget, then you're screwed.
