      Pros

      Certainly a lot of opportunity given the size of the company. As for a big company, GD does a good job of not interfering in the business of their divisions, other than in finance and legal. It's a very decentralized business.

      Cons

      Too big. If you weren't in the military you don't feel like you belong. You need to really enjoy government business to be happy at GD.

      Pros

      Respectful purpose in supporting governement efforts to assist with maintaining the safety of US and Allied troops in the military. Their technoligies help save lives and track BAD GUYS who wish to hurt Democracy.

      Cons

      Lack of corporate direction and financial responsibilty to money-saving efforts to save employee jobs. Wasting $100,000+ on Starbucks Coffee and machine P/M service & up-keep fees on their dispensing machines to provide a perk (free drinks) to everyones is an unecessary expense. PEOPLE CAN BUY THEIR OWN COFFEE AND COCO.

      Pros

      C4S has had recent wins with WIN-T and JTRS demonstrating customer satisfaction and a capability to offer the most advanced off th shelf technology to the soldier - the company has a rich history and is well positioned with its launch on GDbroadband - it has also been figting hard for employees jobs and programs

      Cons

      Government spending has been down since 2008 which has impacted both C4S and the entire defense market however the company is strategically aligned to charge back - Adjacent markets need to continue to be a focus and investment for the company
