Pros

Flexible work schedule, tuition assistance for engineering degrees, casual work environment, ability to work on technically challenging projects with a lot of bright people.

Cons

Lack of corporate culture or fit within the GDAIS organization. No career advancement or growth opportunities, trivial or non-existent raises (0%-2%) over the last 5 years, very difficult to get promoted, poor morale among employees, 'check the box' meaningless performance reviews. Management does not seem to care about developing and retaining younger employees. Many employees have left the company over the past few years but that hasn't seemed to change things. Local management is aware of issues but powerless to enact change.

Pros

I have worked with a many great people at this company. Good work life balance.

Cons

The company has been contracting for several years, and has been slashing benefits. Most of the good people (and I have worked with a great many) are now running for the door. Sad to see this happen. If you had asked me a couple years ago, I would have definitely recommended this company.

Pros

GDAIS in Scottsdale, AZ provides an excellent work atmosphere, with flexible start and stop times and good opportunities for career advancement through tuition reimbursement and being located close to Arizona State University.

Cons

The benefits package seems to be a common target of upper management when they look for places to trim overhead. While the current benefits package may be in line with industry standard, it is discouraging to long-term employees to have benefits taken away and does not encourage longevity with the company.
