      Steady, reliable work. Company paid insurance for employee.

      Cons

      Managers talks alot about promoting you and it never happens. Raises taken away for no reason.

      Pros

      The work in High Performance computing was exhilarating. Most of the materials and developments were at minimum 10 to 15 years ahead of the latest and greatest that could even be bought as prototypical.

      Cons

      being moved task wise from HPC to production was a huge let down, it was work - yes but "production" will never be research and development.
