Pros

Good benefits, good people. Great working with the Military. The purpose of what we were developing made for a good attitude and environment. Work-life balance was easy to maintain.

Cons

Work and company can move very slow. Lots of middle management layers. Lots of old technology in use on projects. Company not very flexible or agile - started losing out on new R&D and interesting advanced tech.

Pros

Interesting M&A of good technologies. Solid engineering staffs. Wide reaching networks globally enable access to key accounts.

Cons

Management at the sector Presidential level was very weak. Export controls need to be staffed with personnel who want to help the business and adhere to the law. I knew of many cases where someone who was lets just say "radicalized" was allowed to obfuscate paperwork and supplied false information to legal and got innocent people fired.
