      Pros

      No micro management and treated very fairly and also supported, first organisation I have worked for where the VP of sales have an open door policy and ask how you are getting on. People are great very friendly and always willing to help or find help for you, training provided on a regular basis in US and Europe. Very professional environment with some witty banter thrown in for good measure. Marketing department that actually generate qualified leads. Flexible with working from home or in the office. Social gatherings after off site and on site group meetings encouraged, hard work is expected but the rewards have exceeded even my expectations.

      Pros

      The People- everyone has a great attitude, terribly driven and creative. Industry Leader- I feel a great deal of proud working for a company leading the contact center software industry. Forward Thinking- I was recently hired Genesys without experience in the software/tech industry. My experience applies more to L&D and the leadership at Genesys looked past my lack of experience in the industry to take a chance.

      Cons

      Internal communication between the different groups needs to improve. There is so much going on and the company is gong in so many different directions that is seems everyone is working in their silo and not communicating with the "outside"world. .

      Pros

      Great company culture. Global player. Work hard, play hard. Opportunities for personal growth. Great people to work with. There is potential for an IPO.

      Cons

      You have to be willing and able to work hard, be committed and travel. Genesys has a lot of potential, but also a lot going on and sometimes tries to do too much at once.
