Pros

Flexible timings and rest as others mention.

Cons

Pay is low and not as per industry standards. No team lunch or outing in past 1 year.(HR team is exceptional) No proper recognizition or hike. Lot of cost cut. No perdiem policy for on-site travellers. Keep in mind on-site is for 2 weeks only. All the above changes happened in past year.

Margin Driven, Standard Silicon Valley Company Without the Hype

Pros

Stable company, industry leader. Its a big company so the positions are generally pretty safe as long as you are a hard worker. Insurance plans are nice, open PTO can be good and bad.

Cons

Only care about the bottom line, not the people. Management tries to create an atmosphere where employees can feel community or have events but its generally shuttered. Pay raises are minimal, moving around the company or leaving is really the only way to advance. Standard silicon valley company.

Cons

Team members are all over the world, sometimes meeting times get complicated. Easily get overwhelmed with too many responsibilities added to my plate.

Thank you for your positive review. I too enjoy the open time off other great benefits that Genesys provides its employees. We are growing fast and looking to continue that growth in the coming years. During times of high growth, we have to take on new projects that can make it easier to get overwhelmed.
