Pros

big projects and clients. Okay salary,

Cons

They will pigeonhole you. Every project is organized within a toxic hierarchy that leaves no room for growth, forcing you to wear multiple hats. Opportunities are only available if you stay for at least seven years; otherwise, you're treated as just a cog in the machine. Favoritism is rampant.

Pros

The set up is more efficient than other firms. They pay you overtime which is usually unheard of. The profit sharing/esop averages 12% which makes up for them not matching or contributing to your 401k. They pay for your exams and 1 professional membership after 1 year of working there. Inspiring to young professionals.

Cons

“We are family” but actually “Clients come first” attitude. You will get pigeon-holed if you are good at something. You will always be underpaid here compared to the AIA Compensation Report because they tout bonuses, ESOP and Profit sharing. Expect to be your own advocate. If you don’t speak up for yourself, they will assume you are happy where you are. Don’t spend your whole career here. I would say max. 5 years, learn what you want, get vested and move on. You are and will always be dispensable. Sucks to hear that, but it is true. You can always boomerang if you want!
