Pros

- nice office with coffee and snacks - lunch is provided on fridays - 401k match was vested immediately

Cons

- high turnover in certain departments - horrible work life balance (little vacation, few holidays off) - hr was extremely overbearing in many ways - common theme was people didn't feel like they were paid enough - moving too fast to do things right the first time

Pros

While at Gentell, I learned a lot about myself. I have tenacity, grit and the fortitude to carry on with little to no support. The company paid me well in commissions, but I worked hard to earn those commissions. I loved my clients and clinicians (sales team). I actually really loved my job however due to the amount of stress placed on me and my team, my health began to fail. In November of 2021, I was hospitalized with a massive GI bleed that almost killed me. My stomach was a sieve with nine ulcers and the doctors found a host of other issues. At that time, Gentell had a horrible health insurance plan that only covered .5% of my health care bills. I wish that Gentell would have taken better care of their employees. To note - I left Gentell per my own choice.

Cons

You will receive little to no support while at Gentell. The senior leadership team will never recognize you for doing an excellent job as everything revolves around them. If something goes wrong in your region, they will verbally tear you down and ostracize you.... all because they would not communicate necessary information/rules for you to fulfill, unknown, expectations. Fair warning, rules DO change on a daily basis and will not be communicated to you - again you will be held accountable for not following said, unknown, expectations. Do not expect anyone to show you any kindness or niceties- no holiday cards, no birthday cards, no get-well cards and certainly nothing, but commissions, to celebrate your success. Retention of employees is almost impossible which posed a huge issue for me maintaining customer satisfaction and revenue. Again, little to no support from the corporate office as all of their resources went to hiring office employees. Last but certainly not least because there is more to say, the field staff were reprimanded because they placed their orders at the end of the month. I never imagined a company could be upset about increasing revenue even at the end of the month. It goes against every grain in my being.

Pros

Provides important services to patients.

Cons

Average PTO and healthcare benefits, extremely rigid and unfavorable associate policies, poor leave of absence benefits leading to turnover/forced resignations, constant turnover in HR aside from management and one nasty woman that will never be removed, and all top leadership is unprofessional and unfriendly with the exception of 1 or 2 people.
