APAR could be a good place to work under different circumstances. Unfortunately the leadership model and working environment there is about as toxic as anything I have ever seen in all my professional experience. They would rather outsource and cut heads than invest in their people, which has backfired time and time again. They put on a good smoke and mirror show, but place absolutely no value in their employees and all the employees feel that. As a supervisor, you are nothing more than a puppet who has to do and say as you are told. No opportunity to spread your wings. Unless you are the right type of yes man, you will never advance. HR Mgr is grossly under qualified and incapable of being what she really should be in that roll. HR is allowed to be far too involved in the day to day business. Bad senior leadership trickles down to mid level managers. Absolutely no concern or value placed on anyone who isn't in the "management club". Open culture of discrimination leaving no chance for advancement. You have to check your integrity at the door to be in leadership there. You will see and hear things and be forced to participate in things that are wrong at every level on a regular basis.
