      Constantly Growing, Yet Stagnant Salaries

      Pros

      Open to telecommuting and remote work. Encourages growth through access to free, albeit limited coursework per year. Youthful feel to being on campus. Access to free and regularly scheduled shuttle service from Fairfax Metro.

      Cons

      If you drive to work, you'll have to pay to park. Little to no way to increase your salary based solely on your performance and/or performance reviews without the bureaucracy of others in your supervisory up-line being required to submit additional paperwork throughout the year... and that's only IF the Commonwealth is open to giving increases in that calendar year. Now, having said that, the Commonwealth does provide periodic state-wide increases to employees. These statewide increases are typically offset by changes to mandatory retirement contributions or increases to health/medical insurance premiums.
