      It was a fun experience for a job during college.

      Pros

      You get to met a lot of different students from GMU. There is a lot of flexibility with work hours. The people you work with are great.

      Cons

      Management was not always very supportive. Did not take into account any of our ideas to improve the system and did not give us much attention.

      Pros

      Excellent state benefit package: generous leave, excellent retirement match, good health insurance. Work environment depends heavily on the nature of your job (professor, researcher, administrator, etc.)

      Cons

      As a non-academic in an academic setting I was treated as a second-class citizen, period. I also have been very unimpressed with the management of my unit and the university in general.
