      Great environment for learning mastering new skills quickly

      Pros

      When I worked there, almost complete autonomy was expected of the student teachers. I was impressed that they expected students to learn new software quickly, in order to create lesson plans to teach it. They paid for certifications in all the software the students taught, so it was a quick way to seriously improve your resume. Respectful and fun environment.

      Cons

      You have to deal with the usual slowness of working at a public university, such as learning the quirks of a finicky scanner, because there isn't budget to buy a new one.
