Pros

Health Benefits, 401K, Remote Work Flexibility

Cons

During my time at GP, I experienced a micromanagement culture, with limited opportunities for professional growth or advancement. Despite being with the organization for nearly five years, I did not receive a raise, bonus, or additional compensation—despite consistently contributing to key initiatives. Promotions often appeared to be influenced more by personal relationships than by qualifications or experience, which created a perception of favoritism, inconsistency and low morale. In IT compensation was not tied to performance but rather left to managerial discretion. One manager explicitly stated that salary decisions were based on his personal desertion that's how he controls what people make. This directly contradicts the Koch PBM principles of fairness. Overall, there is a need for more transparent and experienced leadership, clearer advancement paths, and a stronger alignment with the organization’s stated values and performance model.

Pros

They do care about their employees. One of the safest places I have ever worked. Especially considering we are the fastest mill in the company. The benefits package is great but not awesome. Insurance is A1 low cost and great coverage. The company culture is great. 1on1 communication is awesome and you can walk right into anyone's office.

Cons

Trickledown from Atlanta is slow. That leads to jolts and rushes in compliance. Mobile equipment operators tear up everything they can it seems. They have a poor culture among them leading to careless damage. Advancement can be slow in some job roles.
