      Pros

      1. Great team to be apart of. Everyone was always eager to see me learn and grow 2. Management had monthly meetings with me to ensure the internship experience was going well. 3. Management was always looking to ensure that I was able to shadow any positions that I could be interested working in.

      Cons

      There are some down sides to working at Georgia Power. 1. Firstly, bad weather means power is going out. That is something most positions at Georgia Power have a role in responding to. 2. Distribution Engineering in Atlanta is fast paced. A load of projects and customers that need to be addressed.

      Pros

      Company recruits well for new hire (recent grad) technical positions. Safety culture is very good. Very good place to learn and receive training. Company Stability is high. Terminations are uncommon.

      Cons

      Management is not always most qualified, and is very political. Front line workers make less pay than contractors. First line management make less than subordinates with no guarantee of further promotion. Recent exodus of engineers and managers. Salary not competitive with an un guaranteed bonus. Mandatory on-call
