Wonderful People - Good Cause

Pros

Providing electric power to a community is a wonderful reason for existing. Helping to grow and expand the way GPC serves the public is good for the soul.

Cons

Somewhat slow to change and adopt new practices. Very conservative approach to doing business.

Hours are flexible and great health & dental benefits. There’s multiple positions in the company you can transfer too.

Cons

The work to life balance when there is a storm or some kind of weather emergency.

Great support of coworkers and employees who want to give you the opportunity to learn about the business and figure out where your passions align to make an impact for the company.

Cons

There weren't too many opportunities for new graduates who converted from the internship program to find a full-time role once the internship was over.
