Pros

Pay, training, comrodery (in the shops I was at), steady flow of work (usually)

Cons

Tends to cater to insurance companies; upward mobility can be stagnant; very hard to get a work-from-home position, it can get a bit cut-throat if people don't like you

Thank you for the honest and detailed feedback and for the great work you did during your time with us. We're glad to hear your shop-level experience was strong and that you felt supported by your local team. You raised a fair point about visibility from upper management. While we aim to give our teams autonomy, we also don’t want that to come at the expense of feeling seen or supported. We'll continue working on finding that balance. Wishing you all the best in your next role!

Thank you for your feedback and for your years with Gerber. We're glad you appreciated the benefits, PPE, and time off. We know that frequent turnover, especially in management and tech roles, can affect team morale and consistency. It's something we continue to address as we work toward stronger retention and leadership stability. We wish you all the best in your next chapter.
