Pros
Great project opportunities and ability to work cross-functional. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities is key and there is usually great recognition for this. A very diverse group with a mix of new and veteran employees.
Cons
Management could be more in-tune with their teams and general employees. General recognition and advancement opportunities could be a bit better and more fore-frontal. Budget issues also typically stall projects and create overall low moral among engineers etc.
