Pros

Great work environment, at least on my team. The work/home life balance is amazing. If something happens, they understand. Just don't take advantage of it.

Cons

Their system has information that is no longer prevalent due to rules updating each year.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate when employees and former employees take the time to share their thoughts—it helps us grow as a company. Helping customers enroll in a health plan that fits their needs and budget is at the heart of what we do at GetInsured. Since the Open Enrollment Period is limited, our business naturally follows a seasonal cycle. To meet the higher call center demands during the fall and winter, we rely on a seasonal workforce. Unfortunately, this also means there’s a ramp-down period after enrollment ends. This seasonal nature is common in industries requiring customer service during peak periods. We aim to be transparent with our seasonal agents, ensuring they understand from the start that their roles are contract-based and conclude after Open Enrollment. All seasonal employees in this cycle were provided 60 days' notice about the conclusion of their roles. That said, we’re proud to offer industry-competitive compensation for our seasonal agents, which includes a strong base hourly rate plus commissions. Additionally, high-performing agents are considered for permanent roles depending on company needs. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of all our team members, seasonal and permanent alike, in helping consumers navigate their healthcare options. For those transitioning from GetInsured, we thank you for your contributions and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
