We're sorry to hear that your commute times contributed to you leaving GetInsured. Bay Area traffic can really be something. I suppose in cases such as these, the pandemic forcing everyone to be remote would be a positive as it eliminates commute time. We hope that while you were at the Company you felt comfortable enough to share your concerns with your manager and we wish you all the best in the future.

Pros

PTO Accrual starts once yo begin the job. Equipment provided. Okay Training Online chatting

Cons

Training did not consist of broker information Was given a set schedule (9am-6am) but we made to start at 7:30am with no prior notice. Team leads know just about as anyone else and are just relaying messages to the Supervisor ( we could do that ourselves) Website issues are extreme and your expected to try the 10+ workarounds till something worked.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on working at GetInsured. You’re part of one of our newest client teams — that’s exciting! Kudos to you for being part of our first ever all-remote team as part of our COVID-19 response. Depending on when you started and which project you are on (in your case it appears that you are on the Pennsylvania team). Not all Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) were initially intended to take broker calls; this was to be a specialized subset of CSRs. This is why it would not have been covered in your new hire training. As a result of broker call volumes, we had to pivot our direction some and additional training was provided by team leads. GetInsured as a whole prides itself of being nimble and able to adjust to changing circumstances; it’s a big part of our business in an ever-changing market. Please know that we have an open door policy and if you have any questions and/or concerns, you can always reach out to your manager. Your work is truly important and can help quite literally change lives. Thank you for all that you do to support our clients.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on working at GetInsured. We are also pleased to hear you felt the training was very good, especially given this year is a first as an all-remote team. As far as benefits, if you are a year-round full-time employee benefits are offered (which is a pretty standard practice). Please feel free to reach out to your manager if you have any questions regarding benefits.) Thanks again for your feedback!
