Pros

Free food? Dont know if they still have it

Cons

1. Bad Managers 2. Horrible work hours 3. Huge layoffs without proper planning 4. Dirty internal Politics 5. unnecessary pressure for projects that are not well planned and often die without going live 6. Toxic environment 7. Bad planning 8. people getting insecure due to bad culture 9. work is very repetitive and very little scope of growth 10. Some managers are very controlling and dont feel safe giving team members independence 11. bad case of people being run to ground to implement features copied from rivals 12. State projects are highly fickle and prone to "going away" and teams get wiped out because the business model is not streamlined. each state has a dedicated huge team doing same QA etc and when the State "goes away" people become useless 13. execs dnt take responsibility and usually people at the lowest level become scapegoats for their failures

Pros

Raking in hundreds of millions of dollars building State Base Exchange platforms. Roughly 35 states still are needing them. Will Vimo/Getinsured employ the right talent to catapult them to the next level? Or will the lack of vision and foresight bring forth a trajectory that's heading south?

Cons

Sr. management is very intelligent , but is not very smart. You have Ph.D's, MBA's, even and few J.D.'s. Stanford grads as well as Ivy League schools directing traffic but They need someone that knows and understands the insurance industry. The landscape has changed since the inception of the ACA, G.I. should understand that better than anyone. They are raking in millions of dollars after all since the ACA favor the technology side of the company.
