Leadership changes and shifting account assignments have created uncertainty around job security and long-term growth potential. Account reallocation and internal politics can impact earning potential and client relationships, making it difficult to maintain momentum even as a top performer. While many colleagues are kind and collaborative, upper-level transparency and communication from leadership can be lacking, particularly during periods of strategic change. Compensation structure (especially commission percentages) hasn't always aligned with the level of responsibility or the scale of deals closed—especially on multi-million-dollar partnerships. Internal tools and systems (like Salesforce and reporting infrastructure) have historically lagged behind business needs, making forecasting and account tracking more difficult than it should be.
