Pros
Good work life balance - go home and forget about work Unique hands-on experience working in a Cyber security environment Had some good technical challenges but could have been pushed further. Not micro-managed Company focused on long term-strategy although not always successful.
Cons
Initial culture shock working in unique environment. Pay not the greatest, but this was due to what the market could afford and not Pay not the greatest but this was due to competitive market and not trying to penny pinch on staff. Long notice period which is a barrier if you want to move on. Needs to be more dynamic in implementing change. Systems not always explained clearly and constantly having to 'reverse-engineer' what was going on.
