Pros

G+D has been in the smart card industry from inception and at the forefront of developing technology with relation to smart cards, financial services and telecommunications security technologies. This means that when a decision is made it is normally a good decision.

Cons

As it is an old family owned company it can be a little myopic at times and may loose sight of the big picture. Risk taking is also not always a priority which has at times not been in G+D's favour, which can lead to missed opportunities.

Management lies and lies much more

Pros

Machines, other products are well below par

Cons

- unprofessional and too much lies by management to reach their targets - departments are infighting instead of working together - no view or strategy except to lie to customers and conceal the truth - extremely high turnover, and low sense of satisfaction among employees - very low morale within organization - some abusive management, put you under pressure to reach their targets and then give bad review against you later on - firmly focused on past products and accomplishments, no clear view on product development - high stress on technical and day to day delivery teams, who are pitted against each other. Customer support teams are highly undervalued. - no job progression anywhere, no career advancement
