Pros

Supportive, thoughtful management that empowers employees with real autonomy and ownership.

Cons

The grind of pharma is very real in this role, with insanely high expectations and poor access at many call points. The matrix team structure adds unnecessary complexity and a significant amount of repetitive, extra work for reps. The interview process is also extremely demanding and aggressive — more intensive than many executive-level roles — which feels excessive for a rep position. Diversity and inclusion is a major focus and clearly prioritized, sometimes to an overwhelming degree.
