Pros

Amazing way of working asynchronously. Unlike any company I’ve worked for prior.

Cons

Adjustment period getting used to the different way of working (all Slack - no email, asynchronous, meeting agendas).

Pros

1. Gitlab is an awesome place for work/life balance: fully remote but with FTF meetings at will, both with customers, partners and employees, really family oriented. 2. Great product that customers love. 3. Awesome sales growth.

Cons

1. The company prefers to hire new people instead of promoting from within, which leads to significant headcount churn. 2. Uncapped revenue churn at some levels in the sales organisation, which may not even be legal, amounting to significant penalties on the sellers who may have no control over the matter.

Pros

- Competitive compensation - Great product and all remote environment. Paving a path for all remote development. - Life work balance is amazing. Truly flexible and folks are still very productive.

Cons

- All remote can be challenging for some folks so something to consider as there are no offices.
