Leadership is crumbling

Pros

Remote work still which is nice

Cons

C-suite has been swapped out left right and center. The company isn't what it used to be. We used to be async first and transparent. Now its about cramming in meetings and hiding decision making.

Pros

1. A lot of smart people used to work for Gitlab 2. Great platform of a product 3. Fully remote - if you like this, it's huge plus! 4. Work-life balance

Cons

1. No promotion from within, no matter the results. 2. Churn - people get tired and leave. 3. Politics - amazing amount for a fully remote organisation!

Covert sexism

Pros

Great pay and benefits for Australia Incredibly flexible

Cons

Probably the worst sexism I have experienced in my decade long career. Promotion process is unclear. Yes their is a table in the handbook but it's just vague corporate language.
