Pros

The company is truly redefining the way that IT companies will work in the future. Work-Life balance is incomparable, work at any time, from anywhere in the world you want. The company values are not just on paper, the teams leave by it. The company foster a truly no-ego culture.

Cons

The only thing that become a challenge is that working full remote is not for everyone. It requires people and company to put more intention/energy to "meet people" in person, eg. coworking days, off-site events, etc. The company doesn't pay private health insurance in all countries, nor covers life insurance for employees.

Pros

- Transparency - Collaboration: everybody helps each other - Remote culture - Product loved by customers - Innovative company - Autonomy in the job - Flexible employer: full remote, compensation & benefits

Cons

GitLab removed some benefits for meeting in person with colleagues, which makes it a little bit harder to connect with people that are not living in your area.
