Pros

I have been at GitLab for about 6 months and it has been a 10 out of 10 experience. Onboarding was excellent and everyone I work with is kind, helpful, and smart. You get real autonomy while still collaborating closely with talented teammates and feeling supported by the broader group. The all remote, asynchronous culture gives you real flexibility without losing connection. The company embraces AI in a thoughtful way and it genuinely feels like everyone is moving together on one clear mission. Pros: Great onboarding, supportive and collaborative people, real autonomy with strong backing, flexible async work, clear mission, AI forward.

Cons

Cons: High expectations and a fast pace that may not fit everyone.
