GitLab is doing really important work in tech. You have the opportunity to help shape the future of the DevOps, which is applicable to countless fields. The company culture is really transparent, which is evident in the online handbook.

Cons

Working fully remote isn't for everyone. You need to be self-motivated and willing to work in a non-traditional work environment.

The handbook and GitLab values are consistently mirrored in all of the interactions I've had via zoom meetings, which is AMAZING! From the interview conversation, coffee chats, and onboarding training. GitLab provides unlimited opportunities to reach your self development goals in every aspect. The culture is driven by our values and it saves everyone from the mundane office complaints.

- Thorough interview process giving me a great understanding of the job at hand - On-boarding is very thorough and allows me to learn at a pace that I am able to grasp all the information - The culture and people are so amazing, unlike anything I have ever seen before

- I haven't experienced many cons yet as I am new
