Positive & supportive work culture, emphasis on work/life balance, a true meritocracy where your performance is rewarded in realtime.

Cons

No company is perfect, but I'm hard pressed to find cons working at Glassdoor.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. You've shared so many positives that I agree with - especially our people in CS! I'm also glad to hear you are finding the onboarding experience enjoyable as this is something we've significantly invested in. If you have specifics about what could be improved, please share with your manager so we can make it even better and smoother for future new hires! As for the sentiments you shared regarding our partnership with Indeed and integration of Fishbowl content, that is fair feedback. While we've made improvements, there is still plenty of work to be done. We're committed to tackling the challenges to make your job easier and improve the value to our employers. Thank you for being here on this journey and keep the feedback coming as we make progress! - Kira Dewey, Interim Head of CS

Pros

Glassdoor is an incredible place to work! The company actively listens and reacts to their employee's feedback. In the past couple years our benefits have been completely overhauled and they are currently amazing. Pay is great too. Awesome people all over the company and simply incredible work / life balance.

Cons

Some of the technology is fairly outdated and clunky, but the teams are working hard to modernize.

This is really great to hear, thanks for sharing! Glassdoor really stepped up their game recently on the compensation and benefits front and it’s great to hear the positive feedback. As you mentioned, our engineering team has made a lot of great progress modernizing our tech stack over the recent years. As with many fast growing tech startups, we have some cruft from the early days that we need to continue chipping away at. More importantly, we’ll continue to use modern tech going forward for all of our new products and services. Developer experience will continue to be a priority for us, and we’ll continue to invest heavily on that front to make Glassdoor a great place to work as an engineer. - John Stearns, VP of Engineering
