Pros

I have been with the company for almost 2.5 years in sales (which is a lifetime in the Bay Area). I still am just as excited to go to work today as I was on day one. We have changed a lot and had plenty of ups and downs but there's no place I'd rather be. We operate as a team and support each other no matter what the situation. Leadership is strong and opportunities to advance still exist. That's all good stuff for a company entering its 8th year.

Cons

Management has become quite layered over time. What used to take 5 minutes to get approval on now takes a couple days. Sometimes communication breaks down between those layers. This is all part of the natural progression from start up to big boy company.

Great reminder. I love the scrappiness that we all have at this stage. It's a big part of our DNA and I don't ever want to lose that. With more offices, more leaders and more people, we do have to stay creative about how to connect. I'll continue listening and sharing openly. And I want employees to continue to feel like they can come to me and our other leaders any time - layers should not limit connection. Thanks for the reminder.

Pros

Truly a great place to work everyday. I believe in our mission and I love the fast-paced, supportive environment. Senior leadership is incredibly transparent about the business and where it's heading.

Cons

With fast growth comes a lot of uncertainty at times, so you need to be nimble and comfortable with constant shifting of priorities, accounts, territories, etc.

Thank you for your feedback! It's going to be an exciting year. We won't be able to move as fast as we want if employees don't feel supported or have the autonomy they need. If projects or issues arise where you feel like you need more support, remember to reach out. And as the pace continues to pick up, keep finding your own balance between being great at work and great in your personal life.

Thank you for your feedback. As we grow, it's important to me that we continue to build on what you call our "earnest company belief system." I agree, it's part of what makes this a unique and special work environment. We're at an inflection point in the company and we are bringing on some very seasoned leaders to ensure we transition through the growth smoothly while continuing to innovate. Many of these new leaders are in place and making positive impact and we're putting more training in place to help others develop great leadership skills.
