Pros

Great supportive team environment where everyone gets their jobs team and at the same time enjoys a fun culture, that is very open and welcoming to new team members. Great vibe in the office that makes coming in everyday fun.

Cons

As we are a couple of years behind HQ, some of the perks and "extra" benefits are not quite here yet, which is understandable. However doesn't make it any easier!

Pros

Incredibly intelligent and successful leadership. We're disrupting the market We're the talk of the industry Most people "get it" and those who don't typically don't need much convincing/explanation. We're not your typical one dimensional recruitment/HR company - i saw that from day 1 of training! Fast paced, hyper growth and true startup feel in London. Your work and effort doesn't go unnoticed and has an immediate impact. Surrounded by smart people The future, what we will accomplish is incredibly exciting and i'm excited to be a key part of our global growth.

Cons

The London office isn't quite as cool as HQ and we don't have the perks they have. We have to deal with miserable weather and even more miserable faces on the tube commuting to the office everyday. Added to that, we don't have free catered lunches, onsite gym, unlimited PTO, dogs at work, video games in the office, a nap room, kayaking at the office or an amazing view out the window!! ..In all seriousness this will change over time and we're currently in a trendy part of London but it's not quite Sausalito. For some reason the business simply wont take me seriously when i ask to be relocated to head office!! UK Benefits are lacking somewhat but I know that's a matter of time before we're on a par with the US.

Thank you for the really thoughtful review. The London office, as you point out, is new and we are working to make it as great as our Sausalito office. You and everyone else in that office are a huge part of that!

Pros

I've worked here a very long time and sometimes take many of the positives for granted. It's easy to forget not every company offers the flexibility and environment that we have. * We’re a very transparent company * Senior Leaders are approachable, available, and visible * There is a lot of support from my manager and a genuine concern for employees' wellbeing. * We encourage folks to take the time and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing so they can be the best version of themselves. * The business listens to our concerns and where possible change is actioned * There's a very inclusive approach regardless of gender, race, background, sexuality, or how you identify. In recent years a number of ERGs have been formed which offers us an opportunity to learn more about each other, become allies and be better and more rounded people at work and in the outside world. Specifically from an EMEA perspective, we are a smaller group more akin to a family. There are no egos, there's humility and a willingness to learn from each other and explore the perspective of newer team members who have a different outlook. For me, the remote-first working environment is both a pro and a con. We are fortunate to share incredible offices with our sister company Indeed in both London and Dublin. This offers us the opportunity to interact with each other and our partners at Indeed. Should you want a change from working at home, there’s an accessible and fully equipped office which offers a catered lunch in addition to all the snacks and tech you could imagine. Having the office also allows for in-person client meetings and having face-to-face chats with colleagues you typically only see on Zoom. From a Sales perspective, there's money to be made and a lot of untapped opportunities for our teams. Our working relationship with our partners at Indeed continues to improve and there's a willingness at the leadership level for that to accelerate further. We have a plethora of benefits and I LOVE the fact we have company days where we’re all off [I just need to remember them and plan ahead more often]. With all this said, the very best thing about working at Glassdoor is the people. The people are genuine, smart, empathetic, humble, hard-working and over time become more than colleagues. So many unforgettable memories have been made and there are so many more that will be made. We have hired some wonderful individuals whom I LOVE working with and genuinely look forward to being in their company.

Cons

* Remote First working can be challenging. * It can be lonely and challenging for newer employees to feel comfortable within the group while onboarding, particularly if they do not live close to an office to take advantage of occasionally seeing peers in person. * It would be great to have (more) specific budget set aside for fun to bring the region together regularly.

Wow—thank you for such a thoughtful and heartfelt review! It’s incredible to hear how much you value the people, culture, and flexibility here at Glassdoor. We truly appreciate the perspective of long-time employees like yourself, and it’s great to see that our commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and employee well-being resonates with you. It resonates with me too. We understand that remote-first work comes with its challenges, especially for new team members, and we appreciate your insight on fostering more in-person connections. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll continue looking for ways to bring teams together and strengthen those relationships. Please trust that we have shared this feedback with our leaders. Thanks for all that you do—you make this an amazing place to work! - Britney Martinez, Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
