Pros

As you can imagine, the culture at Glassdoor is AMAZING! They do a really good job of hiring the right people, so everyone that works here is a great addition to the team, at all levels. It can be a challenging role, however I always feel I have the best support system when needed. Everyone that works here is treated like an adult, with no micro management, no big KPI's etc. You are trusted to do your job and encouraged to perform well. The commission is structured very well, with all employees earning a healthy salary each month / quarter. Both the teams in EMEA and US are extremely diverse, with a transparent roadmap of where the company wants to be moving forward. I love working at Glassdoor!

Cons

Being partnered with Indeed, I think the CRM's need to be integrated to make our jobs a lot easier and smoother. other than that, I have no cons of working here.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and energetic response! We are thrilled to have you a part of our team. One thing I've always been so proud of at Glassdoor is our ability to grow and succeed by trusting our teams to focus on the right things. In a fast-paced world, it can be easy to get distracted or lose sight of what's ahead of us, but our GTM organization continues to lean in and produce incredible work. When it comes to the partnership with Indeed, we certainly hear you and know that simplifying our work streams and adapting our working relationship through technology is top of mind. Trust me, I'd love it as much as anyone! With that said, these things take time and need to be done thoughtfully and methodically-- otherwise we'll go right back to square one! Thanks again for being such a valued member of our team. I can't wait to see what you'll continue to accomplish! - Brett Runyan, VP of Go-To-Market

Pros

- Amazing workplace culture like no other that i have experienced - Commitment to diverse teams not just a PR strategy - Competitive remuneration in comparison to other sales roles - Leadership who will actively listen and guide you rather than micro manage -

Cons

Clutching at straws here and i mean that, - Career progression is not always as clearly defined as it should be, no real lines of progression unless the obvious occurs.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. The headline of your review makes me so happy! We work hard to be authentic and transparent each day. It’s wonderful to know that we are hitting the mark and that you chose to exemplify this core value by providing feedback. You are correct, diversity is critical to who we are as an organization and who we want to be. We are committed to our diversity goals and will continue to challenge ourselves when recruiting, hiring, making decisions, promoting, and educating. In addition, our employee resource groups are a rich part of our culture and business. It’s also good to know that you believe our compensation is competitive. There are great rewards for strong sales performance and our sales leaders work very hard to support the success of our teams. We added a number of Sales Leaders this year and I am thrilled with their commitment, people-first approach, talent, and grit. But work remains for us in a number of areas including career progression. You’ll be glad to know that we developed key priorities for the second half of this fiscal year. Building a clear career progression or career path framework is the top priority. We are scoping this important project now and will soon provide the plan to our sales organization. Thank you again for your review. I’m grateful that you are part of our sales team and that you want to help us be the best, most inclusive workplace we can be. - Val Roush, VP of Sales.
