Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Since you stated “excellent pay” as one of our pros, it’s likely because your sales performance is stellar. Thanks for the hard work and focus on exceeding sales targets! Our remote-first culture is conducive to flexible working and I’m glad that you are leveraging this to impact your work/life balance. After recently visiting Dublin, I understand the desire for flexibility and the option to work from one of the beautiful offices as you like and to connect with your amazing colleagues at a local pub from time to time. The culture you’ve built is inclusive, hard-working, and fun. You are right to call out that we have work to do on Career Progression. As you know, we are actively building a program and communications for career progression, but won’t be ready to roll it out for a few months. Though I’m sorry we won’t have this ready sooner, I’m confident that once complete, it will provide transparency and clear expectations on career opportunities. Finally, thanks for the feedback on RSUs. We strive to be competitive with our total compensation but know that we can always improve. Thanks again for your review and for your contribution to Glassdoor! Val Roush, VP of Sales

Pros

I feel so grateful every day to work at Glassdoor. In addition to such a noble mission, I get to work with the best people every single day. Glassdoor does such an amazing job of hiring only the best of the best. Everyone is so collaborative and truly cares about each other. Glassdoor allows us to show up as ourselves. My manager continues to tell me to prioritize my family and health on a regular basis. I love the clients I get to work with and helping them achieve their goals

Cons

Our partnership with Indeed continues to have growing pains, as expected. It does sometimes feel like Glassdoor doesn't have much of a say, that we have to do what Indeed wants because they are bigger.

First of all, thank you for recognizing our amazing company. I love Glassdoor and I’m so glad you found time to share your valuable feedback. I too am grateful for our noble mission and incredible colleagues. We truly have the opportunity to impact lives and you are part of that noble purpose. The teamwork and collaboration I experience on a daily basis are unmatched and it sounds like you feel it too. --This is certainly rooted in the genuine care our people have for each other and the way our leaders carry themselves. Having supportive, empathetic leaders is essential to our culture and mission. It’s wonderful to hear that your manager is a strong example. We do truly care about you and your well-being. Hearing that you love your clients absolutely warmed my heart. Sales is a tough job, but enjoying the work and the people while helping customers sure does make it better. Thank you for sharing your perspective on the Indeed partnership. Though we’ve come far together, we know work remains. Please know that we will tackle some of the top challenges that surfaced in our recent Pulse Survey. Keep the feedback coming, you’re helping us prioritize and make improvements. Finally, I am fully committed to transparency and intend to continually improve communications as we work longer together. Your concern around rewards for tenured employees is definitely top of mind. Though it has taken me longer than anticipated, I’m committed to building and rolling out a new career progression plan in 2023 and also, equipping our Sales Team with the tools they need to accomplish great success. Thank you again for taking the time to write a review. Mostly, thank you for your hard work and GRIT. I’m grateful to you! - Val Roush, VP of Sales
