Pros

Good benefits - 401k with matching up to 5%, immediate vesting; PC purchase assistance program; tuition reimbursement Good work/life balance (depending on your leadership) Fun people and laid back environment - until something blows up When your job is offshored, you're given 6 months notice and severance package w/ job finding services Free Douwe Egberts coffee and tea Onsite gym and cafe

Cons

No investment in technology. Most PCs are 5+ years old. They still run XP and Office 2003. The only reliable systems are the ones from the "green-screen" era and any web based tool crashes at least a couple times a week. Internal knowledge is not there to build or improve systems but will not spend money to fix it. Every project is done cheap instead of right. Lack of communication between various departments so everyone is always reacting to things other departments do. Focus on costs without looking at any long term impacts. The last few years have been cuts, offshoring and more cuts decisions made at executive level while front line has been left to "figure out" how to do more with less. Everything is reactive instead of proactive. Leadership is afraid to be the first to market or try something different than the industry

Pros

Middle management employees are approachable professionals. The corporate culture is very laid back. The workload here can be daunting but leadership often practice a macro-management style and willingness to help get things done.

Cons

A makeover is over due

Pros

Located in a nice building, free sodas

Cons

Full of people that just don't care. A lot of infighting. Very unorganized, unwilling to accept change, lack of confidentiality in HR, unwillingness to work between teams, management favortism, nepotism, friendship network, lack of processes, reactive not proactive, employees not heard, old regime that is complacent and not willing to stay up with technology, training, or ideas. Stop managing projects on post it notes
