Pros
Everyone is personable and usually easy to get along with. It’s especially nice if you’re one of the golden children (ie your political and religious ideologies align with owners).
Cons
Technology stack is outdated. Procedures are inefficient. Internal tools are awful. Working here is like having a narcissistic parent. They love you and are nice and do nice things for you. But once you’re out, you realize how manipulative and toxic the environment was. You realize how impossible it was to please them. You realize how insecure they are. I dared express a political opinion differing from theirs, so HR reprimanded me (well, they told my manager to do it). Several others displayed political items and were ignored because they aligned with the owners. I use experiences I had there when training managers as examples of poor management.
