Great people good product but so much changed after Pearson acquired them

Great People to work with - fun and nice - built good friendships and connections Good Product - easily one of the best in the market

Cons

Pearson Acquisition (good for the company but not really for the employees) A LOT of executive management changes (no one knows why they left or if they were fired) Not much job security No one knows who is getting cut and when and why Used to be way more fun to work there

Pros

GlobalEnglish is ever evolving company. It goes up and down and up again. Any opinion will be good as it is good today and will be completely off tomorrow, particularly in sights of recent acquisition. All reviews are for PD only. - If you have ideas, energy and desire - company is cooperative to get them implemented. Initiatives are welcome. Agile and engaging. Always interesting (depending on how you see things)

Cons

HQ budget constraints - more money flowing to offshore development office. No strong product ideation - company is still looking for its place. Too agile which makes it chaotic sometimes. Too many teams without clear purpose. Roadmap is foggy and rarely adhered to.
