Pros

Plenty of opportunity to learn and grow your career and skills as long as you have some solid motivation. Most middle managers are quite good at theirs jobs and look out and support their team. Always busy. Often too busy.

Cons

Upper management doesn't list to middle management. Middle management understands how severely the shifts are struggling with inadequate and under qualified staffing. We rarely get new hires and when we do they are entry level and not at all what is needed. Severely understaffed. Hiring skilled employees is laughable. Low wages for the expected skills which is why many move on to other companies that pay more after a few years. Yearly monetary raises are poor at best Cost savings has gone overboard. We lost so much good talent in the last two years and most teams are now causing more damage than they fix.
