Pros

State-of-the-art instrumentation Good cafeteria Nice office furniture

Cons

Managers follow the zero sum principle: if they make people under them look ignorant and inept, they think that they look wise and capable, so that the two factors add up to zero. This situation leads to a demoralizing work environment and fear of finger-pointing.

Pros

Good for retirement and conservative people who do not adapt to changes. For people who like to work without utilizing brains.

Cons

The direct bosses will never accept opinions and changes, they stick to only their styles. No career growth can be seen. People are judged by their nationality. Very unorganized in workflow or documentation. Be prepared for retrenchment exercise every year, you will never know when do you have to pack and leave.

Pros

It is a new fab, and there are some opportunities, but the cons far outweigh the positives.

Cons

There are far too many problems here. 1. Management rules by intimidation and humiliation. They really have no idea how to command the respect of their employees; as a result moral could not be lower, and the turnover is horrific. Few of the original people are left; the ones that are still here have incredibly thick skins and can tolerate massive amounts of abuse. 2. Company lacks any real direction, they continue to grasp for a spot in the market, but have not been able to accomplish anything substantial. As a result their portfolio is fragmented, profits are but a dream, and raises are non-existent. 3. The cost of living here is very high, and compensation is below industry standard. The fab is located far away from any place that would be considered civilized. Night life and entertainment is nonexistent. 4. Safety, Not much effort expended here. There is some talk no real efforts expended on it. The safety dept has no experience, and although they try, they are not getting it right. There are already many reviews on this site, and most all say the same. The few positive reviews are from ringers from HR. This place is as bad as they say, beware, you have been warned.
