Empowerment and respect of individual are two greatest assets of this company, employees are free to make decision and not afraid of being put down by others during a hotly contested debates.

Cons

Systematic approaches to solving issues, and getting buy-in from various stake holders are great value but also poses risk to speed on execution and quick turn around. This can be fatal in a fast moving mobile market.

Globalfoundries is the most competitive and the most interesting place to work in. Previously I've worked for another big company, but I never so much opportunities to express my knowledge and to upgrade my professional and personal skills. Surrounding of friendly and very professional colleagues makes working atmosphere very family and pleasant for working.

Cons

Family members sometimes suffer when you trying to switch back from work to home.
